The Closing Cost Assistance Grant Program

The Closing Cost Grant Program provides low-income, first-time homebuyers in Santa Cruz County with grants up to $5,000 as a credit toward closing costs. The grant literally bridges the gap between members of our community and their financial ability to achieve their dream of owning a home. The Closing Cost Grant program can be used in conjunction with other state, county or city housing assistance programs which can make the difference in qualifying for a home or not.

The monies raised from "A Taste of Santa Cruz" are vital in the funding of the this program. Below are some of the past recipients of the Closing Cost Assistance Grant.
